We’re thrilled to have successfully secured planning permission for a new innovative, sustainable mixed-use medical centre and residential building that will form the core of an exciting park regeneration project in central London. The new Dickens Square Park Surgery will provide state-of-the-art facilities on the ground and first floor for 15,000 patients in the local area. Above, 39 homes will be a mix of one, two and three-bed dwellings, with private and a series of communal roof gardens.
Wellbeing sits at the heart of this scheme. Aspects have been designed to maximize natural daylight and views of the surrounding park for both patients and residents. The use of passive strategies, thermal efficiency and air source heat pumps will ensure the mixed-use building far exceeds environmental building regulations, while promoting a car-free lifestyle. 41% of the new homes will be affordable.
