This full house refurbishment in Brixton, including a side infill extension and loft conversion, transformed a terraced house into a modern family home.
The ground floor side extension and alterations form a light, spacious, open-plan living space. Natural light is brought deep into the new living and dining space through a bespoke, pitched skylight. A corten-clad oriel window forms a bench seat internally, and cantilevers out from the brick wall externally to provide an eye-catching view from the terrace.
Upstairs, generous windows and roof lights bathe the bedrooms in light. Throughout the home, new timber joinery adds warmth to the calm material palette.
